Periscope for
Deckungszielgerät for G43 and other self-loading rifles, as well as the
Panzerschreck. Rather crude (crappy) optics. The manual has the
following to say: "4. The periscope c is adjustable in height and
side by the rear attachment clamp. It holds the Optik which is
completed by top and bottom lids. The holes in the upper lid are used
for camouflage. Troops are not allowed to dissasemble the optics." $
